Next week we will have our first Parent Teacher Interviews for this school year. If you wish to book conferences a separate email was sent this week and information is also below. Please remember to book an interview with any/all of your student’s teachers that you wish to speak with. This time we will hold two in-person evening interview sessions (Nov. 22&23) and an online day session of interviews on Friday (Nov. 24). If you are booking online interviews on the Friday, please connect with the link you receive in your email confirmation. As mentioned last week, we will continue to update you on high school information as it is made available. Please see previous and new information available below our message.
A big congratulations to our basketball athletes and coaches. Both senior teams are playing the finals tonight, last night the junior girls won their final, and the junior boys finished second in their division. Again, well done to basketball teams and athletes. We are so proud of your achievements. Special thanks to our coaches: Ms. Vo, Ms. O’Connell, Ms. Yeo, Mr. Bester, Mr. Prather, Mr. Luu and Mr. Shi for volunteering their time coaching our students. We’d like to thank our scorekeepers, students and parents who came out to show their support, and the teacher supervisors who support at our home games.
We are pleased to share that we’ve raised over $3000 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Thank you to all the students, parents and staff for participating in our fundraiser. We appreciate the generosity of our school community.
Thank you for your continued support,
Ms. Ko and Ms. Dalwood

Grade 9 Optional West Coast Sailing Trip – Information Session
Every year, we try to offer our grade 9 students the opportunity to go on a West Coast trip. For this trip, we fly out as a group to Victoria, BC, and live onboard sailboats for 5 days/4nights in the Salish Sea off Vancouver Island. The cost for the trip is usually around $2,800 (which includes flights, ground transportation and food and activities while onboard the sailboats). We can take a minimum of 13 students and a maximum of 29 students. As such there will be a student meeting to gauge interest for this year’s trip, on Monday, November 20th, during lunchtime in Rm. 25. There will also be a VIRTUAL Parent meeting on Friday, November 24 from 3:00–3:30 pm. The link will be sent out closer to the date.
